The Revalidation Support Unit (RSU) aims to support and improve professional standards through continuing professional development (CPD), appraisal and revalidation.
Our remit:
Management of a suit of online systems to support NHS Wales staff including Medical Appraisal Revalidation System (MARS), Orbit360™ and Dental Appraisal System (DAS)
Delivery of CPD via blended learning approach for doctors in Wales
Management of the GP Appraisal Process including the employment and training of approximately 90 GP Appraisers.
Leading on Quality Management systems and providing support for Revalidation.
